The median household income in the United States is $50,221.

That means this guy’s income is only about 80% more than the average household in America, whereas the very poorest member of the top 1% makes more than 650% of the average.

All that hard work he’s bragging about has earned him very little by comparison.

This guy actually has more in common with the 80% who make less money than he does with the richest 1% of earners … and he doesn’t even know it.
